We have a ROUS living with us. Any fan of Princess Bride will
immediately know that is a "rodent of unusual size." Ours isn't as big
as those in the movie, but this guy is pretty big. It's a groundhog
who lives under our screen-porch. I've seen him about 3 times this
spring already, usually I only see him once a year. Wonder if he'd
like a pile of pea pods to chew on.....?

Anyone else have an unusual creature among their midsts?

My son would come under that heading- not so much for the size but the rodent part. Once I did have a beaver that ambled into my yard from the drainage ditch. Then there was my 2nd husband....
We love the "Princess Bride". One of my normal sayings to the kids when they leave with their dad is "Have fun storming the castle!" with as much Billy Crystal inflection as posiible.

Oh, I forgot that line! There are so many good lines in that movie. I'm going to have to pull that DVD out and watch it again.

When my son was taking fencing we would often say,
"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
