Random thoughts about life in my house: things that happen and struggles of being a parent to a brilliant daughter and to an autistic son.

Do you like numbers? I think number are kinda cool. I try to find a pattern to remember phone numbers and addresses. I also like the odometer on the car. Yesterday the odometer read my birthday 111660.
I do notice patterns. I remember one time having to hesitate when dialing because I knew the number by the pattern of the buttons. I was at an old rotary phone. I had to be deliberate.
Some phone numbers I have remembered for 35 years even though no one I know is at that number anymore.
My husband loves numbers. He sees interesting patterns in all the numbers he sees. I don't understand why numbers are fascinating, but the people who love numbers are usually interseting people. Sue
Numbers are not that interesting to me but I am noticing and pointing out patterns now that I work with the remedial kids in Title I. There are exceptions like when the microwave or DVD player clocks read 711 or 911. Seems like we catch them one of those times each day. Happy late Birthday, by the way.
I am a fifty-something mom of two, wife, a messy housekeeper, and a retired computer programmer. I enjoy golf, quilting, knitting, pottery and racking up steps on my fitbit.

Late?
11-16-60 is almost two months from now, unless you were talking about last year...
