I'm always sad when greenery of any kind needs to be taken away. Even pruning an existing tree or bush seems like a violation of the whole life thing.
Logically, I know it needs to be done sometimes. But I love when things grow, so to consciously make them not grow is a bit tough for my bleeding heart to bear.
I guess that explains my techno-geek persona, then.
I am with Carmi. When we had that horrible ice storm in southwest MO a few winters ago and then the ice storm in the southeast part of the state too, the trees EVERYWHERE looked like something out of a war zone. They still look ragged and struggling. You choosing something else for that spot?
I am a fifty-something mom of two, wife, a messy housekeeper, and a retired computer programmer. I enjoy golf, quilting, knitting, pottery and racking up steps on my fitbit.
