A side benefit of that was that we found that they are good at melting and thus shaping plastic objects but the process needs at least 3 to 3 1/2 minutes to alter the molecules of the plastic enough to shape it. If the process is stopped before the plastic is thoroughly melted, then the molecular structure quickly reverts back to it's original state. <BR/>Since bacon is 86.943 % plastic it adheres to the same molecular structure rules as regular plastic.
